Teamwork for Global Health at Læger uden Grænser
-
Anne-Mette Krøyer, Head of Strategic Partnerships
One of the things I especially enjoy at Læger uden Grænser is being part of a solid, close-knit team. There is a special kind of team spirit and camaraderie within the fundraising department which undoubtedly stems from the fact that we strive to achieve some very ambitious humanitarian goals, often under pressure and in very complex circumstances. At the office, we are given free reins and ample opportunity to take ownership of our work and objectives which is challenging but also very rewarding because it supports the feeling that you, too, can have an impact on and contribute to Læger uden Grænsers efforts around the globe to ensure access to health care for all. To me, this is a strong source of inspiration which brings me a great sense of purpose and joy at work.

About Læger uden Grænser
We are a movement of doctors, nurses, midwives, and many other professionals. Every year, we provide emergency health care to millions of people affected by catastrophes, conflicts, and epidemics, or who are otherwise deprived of access to a healthcare system.
We go where the need is greatest, regardless of who our patients are and where they come from. We are committed to our principles of neutrality, impartiality and independence and bear witness to what we see while providing medical care to the people we assist. In 1999, we received the Nobel Peace Prize in recognition of our work.
We value diversity and strive for an inclusive and accessible workspace and encourage all individuals with the required qualifications to apply, irrespective of ethnic, national, or cultural background, age, gender, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, disabilities, or any other aspect of their identities.
Work with us.
