Læger uden Grænser (MSF) is looking for a IT Support Student Assistant
Læger uden Grænser works in more than 70 countries around the world, where we provide emergency medical aid to people in conflict and disaster zones.
We are currently looking for a student assistant for our Danish office.
In close collaboration with the Head of ICT and the IT Team, you will work with a broad array of exciting and diverse tasks, technologies and services, including but not limited to Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, Azure resources, Intune configuration, and PowerShell scripting. You will also support the full Microsoft 365 platform, including Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
The role combines hands-on technical tasks, end‑user support, various project work and continuous improvement of our IT environment and service level.
Key Areas of Responsibilities
End-User Support
Provide 1st and 2nd line support to employees across the organization.
Troubleshoot issues related to Microsoft 365 applications (Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint, Office apps).
Assist users with device issues (Windows laptops, mobile devices, peripherals).
Document and maintain support procedures, user guides, and knowledge base.
Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory & Identity Management
Manage user and group lifecycles.
Maintain security groups, administrative roles, and access policies.
Azure Infrastructure
Monitor and support Azure resources such as VMs, networking components, and storage.
Assist in provisioning, configuration, and troubleshooting of Azure workloads.
Support and maintain governance practices.
Intune Device & Application Management
Configure and maintain Intune policies for Windows and mobile devices.
Manage application deployments, systems configurations via Intune.
Ensure device compliance, security baselines, and conditional access integration.
PowerShell Automation
Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation of routine tasks.
Support bulk administration tasks (user management, device actions).
Contribute to improving operational efficiency through scripting and tooling.
Desired Skills & Qualifications
Experience with Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory administration.
Working knowledge of Azure infrastructure components and management.
Knowledge of Intune for devices, application, and compliance management.
Practical experience with PowerShell, including writing and maintaining scripts.
Solid support capabilities within Microsoft 365, especially Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Office apps.
Good troubleshooting skills with a structured, methodical approach.
Ability to communicate complex IT topics clearly to non‑technical users.
Service‑oriented mindset with a proactive attitude.
Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience with Windows Autopilot provisioning.
Knowledge of network fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewall).
Understanding cybersecurity best practices.
Personal Competencies
Strong sense of responsibility and ownership.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Comfortable in a dynamic, sometimes fast-paced environment.

You will report to the Head of ICT, Christian Franke. The position is part of our IT Team in the Support department, but you will collaborate with great colleagues across the entire office.
The job is a part-time position of 12 hours per week, possibly more. The workplace is Læger uden Grænsers office at Strandlodsvej 44, Copenhagen S.
