We’re now looking for a dedicated C&B Specialist to lead the rollout of the new Global Rewards roadmap across the Nordic entities.
Doctors Without Borders (Médecins Sans Frontières/MSF) is currently transforming its global rewards policies and tools to better support a diverse workforce and adapt to evolving operational needs. Led by MSF’s global leadership, this initiative aims to promote greater equity, transparency, and consistency across all programs.
As part of this effort, MSF entities in the Nordic region (Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Finland) are working together to ensure a smooth implementation of these policies. That’s why we’re looking for a Nordic Compensation and Benefits Specialist.
In this role, you will lead and coordinate the rollout of global rewards projects across the four Nordic countries, working closely with HR teams to align local practices with MSF’s global standards—including the integration of the HAY function grid—and harmonize them with Nordic compensation and benefits frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead implementation of MSF's global rewards roadmap across the Nordic entities
- Develop, integrate and communicate project implementation plans/timelines including risk management strategies across the Nordic partner sections
- Evaluate the impact of rewards review practices in each of Nordic entities
- Align C&B practices with global and Nordic standards
- Develop proposals, policies, and supporting tools in collaboration with HR teams
- Report to HR Directors and represent the Nordics in international meetings
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years’ experience in international Compensation & Benefits with solid knowledge of the grading methodologies like Korn Ferry Hay (essential)
- Previous/Current MSF experience strongly preferred
- Strong project management, stakeholder coordination, analytical skills, and ability to work independently across teams
- Proficiency in HRIS and relevant tools (preferred)
- Fluent in English (min. B2); Scandinavian and French language skills are a plus
- Preferably based in the Nordics (Norway, Sweden, Denmark, or Finland), but must be within the European time zone in a country with an MSF office — Nordic-based candidates strongly preferred
What We Offer
- Full-time, 24-month fixed-term contract starting August 2025
- Opportunity to support a global initiative advancing equity and transparency in MSF’s workforce
- Collaborative role within a cross-border Nordic team, with global MSF engagement
- Salary at HAY level 17 at MSF entities in Nordics with starting monthly salary of
- Norway: 60 390 NOK | Sweden: 45 207 SEK |Denmark: 39 931 DKK |Finland: 4049 EUR
- For other locations (within the European time zone in a country with an MSF office), local MSF policies apply
